Technology in the Library: Wi-Fi

Connecting to Wi-Fi

For help connecting to Wi-Fi from your device, visit the librarians at the reference desk.

For Wi-Fi network names, see below.

Current Students

Current students and staff members are able to access a secure network named “MCC-Wireless” using their current MCC username and password. After you connect for the first time, your device will automatically connect again anytime you enter campus as long as you have your device remember the network and WiFi is enabled on your device.

Visitors

If you are a guest of MCC or the Shah Center for a conference, workshop or other event, or you are just visiting, you may access the "MCC-Open" Wi-Fi network. The system allows registration for a Wi-Fi account that will last for one day. If you would like to extend the length of access to the open Wi-Fi,  please visit the Help Desk in room A110 or the Library in A212. After you connect for the first time, your device will automatically connect again anytime you enter campus as long as your account is active, you've set your device to remember the network, and you have Wi-Fi enabled.
