1. Type your topic in the search box and press Enter.
   • Example: college athletes
2. On the results page, use the Tweak Your Results column.
   • Limit by Availability:
     • Held by Library: print materials on the shelf for checkout
     • Held Online: eBooks that can be accessed in a library database 24/7 for free without a library card
   • Limit by Resource Type:
     • Click the type of materials you're looking for.
3. Click Apply Filters.
4. Click the title of a book you want.
   • If it's a print item, it'll give you the location on the shelf where you can find it.
   • If it's an online book, click the name of the database to access it.
5. If you use the book in your research, click the Citation button to get the citation for it.

The following databases contain eBooks and are great for gathering background information on your topic. You need your myMCC login to access them from off campus.
