Jane Austen and the Regency Period: Finding Books & Media

The Inspiration for this Research Guide

Most Austen afficianados have their "favorite."  I started out with Pride & Prejudice after studying it in a literature class in college, but as I have matured I find my favorites are (currently) Emma and Persuasion.  With each re-reading I find new points of connection, new ways of understanding Austen's characters.
