Are audiobooks really books?
This is a question I ask myself frequently, since I listen to audiobooks so frequently. I agree with Neil Gaiman, who wrote in his May 2005 blog post, “I don't think the experience of reading a book and the experience of hearing a book are the same.” But, as I have listened to more and more audiobooks (147 since 2006, and by tomorrow morning it will be 148), I am confident that both experiences qualify, without a doubt, as reading . . . click here to read more.
