To Kill a Mockingbird (AUDIOBOOK) by Harper Lee
While waiting for a copy of Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman to become available at the library, I decided to re-visit her classic, To Kill a Mockingbird. In audiobook form this book is masterful. Sissy Spacek does a fantastic job of intonating Scout’s “wise beyond her years” questions, proclamations, and provocations. Spacek’s slow as molasses Maycomb drawl is pitch perfect in the muggy late summer heat. A first-rate rendition of a much-loved favorite. - Cynthia

As an academic library, the MCC Library spends most of its budget on assignment-related materials. We purchase some leisure reading to promote reading, but not nearly as much as the public libraries. If you want a book not owned by MCC, try your public library. Don't live in a public library district? We can order books for you through interlibrary loan.
