Using Primo

If you have a myMCC login (students and employees) log in to the library search using your myMCC login.

For help resetting your password, contact the IT Help Desk.

For community borrowers, if this is the first time you are logging in, use your library barcode and the password you were assigned when you got your library card. You will be prompted to reset your password the first time you log in. If you need help logging in, contact the circulation desk for assistance at 815-455-8533 or library@mchenry.edu.

You can see what materials you have checked out and renew items through your library account.

1. Go to the library catalog 
2. Click on sign-in (upper right corner). Choose your patron type: Staff and Students, sign in using your myMCC account and password. Community Users, sign in using your library card number and password.
3. In the upper right corner, click on the arrow next to your name.
4. In the pulldown menu, click on My Loans. The list of items you have checked up will be listed.
5. Click on Renew for each item you would like to renew. Each item will be renewed. Please note the new due date.
6. In the upper right corner, click on the arrow next to your name. In the pulldown menu, click on Sign Out.
