The scanner is located at the stand-up computer near the Circulation desk. Make sure the scanner is turned on before you begin.
- Double-click the EPSON Scan icon on the desktop.
- Place your document face-down on the scanner bed.
- Click the Preview button. The software will perform a test scan.
- When it's done, click Scan.
- On the File Save Settings box, choose the Image Format you want. It defaults to saving the file as a .PDF, but you can also choose to save the file as a .JPEG.
- When you're ready, click Scan.
- If you have multiple pages, place the next page on the scanner bed and click Add Page, then click Scan.
- When you're done, click Save File. The file is save to a folder on the computer and has a default name of "Scan(number)."
- To rename the file, right-click over the file name and select Rename. Type the new file name and press Enter on the keyboard.
- You can now transfer the file to your own flashdrive or send it as an email attachment.
We recommend deleting your scan from the computer. Ask staff for help!
