About This Guide

The MCC Library provides access to digital resources to help you succeed in your Economics courses. Each database provides high-quality information on various aspects of economics. Access Business Source Premier by using the search boxes on the left or use any of the databases listed below.

Economics and Theory (Gale OneFile)

  • How to use: Enter economic topics or keywords (like “inflation,” “microeconomics,” or “economic policy”) in the search bar. Browse results for full-text academic journals, magazines, and articles focused on economics. Use filters to narrow by publication type, date, or subject.
  • What it’s for: Use this database to research economic theories, policy analysis, business trends, modeling, investing, and to start or market a business. It’s an excellent resource for coursework and projects in economics.

Business Source Premier

  • How to use: Type your economics-related keywords (e.g., “economic growth,” “market trends,” or “macro policy”) in the search box. You can use advanced search options to combine terms or limit your results by publication, date, or type (such as journal articles, market reports, or industry profiles).
  • What it’s for: Use Business Source Premier to access academic articles, industry reports, case studies, country and company profiles, and statistics relevant to economics and business management.
