ENG 152 : Keywords and Database Searching for Dual Credit

Finishing the Research Process

When you find a source that you want to use for your research, you need to evaluate it (step 6 of the research process). Recall the source evaluation skills you learned about in ENG151. Who is behind the information? What is the purpose of the information? How does it help you with your research?

If you decide to use a source for your research, you must cite it (step 7 of the research process). Remember to use the database's citation tool! Be sure to choose the correct citation style (like MLA, APA, or Chicago). If you're not sure which one to use, just ask your teacher.
