On August 28, 1963 Reverand Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led hundreds of thousands of protestors to Washington D.C for the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.  On the steps of the Lincoln Memorial Dr. King delivered his "I Have a Dream Speech" 100 years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
