Audio Visual Equipment - The library has CD, DVD and Blu-ray players, and a VCR available. To use the equipment, please check out a remote and headphones at the Circulation Desk.
Computers - The library offers 37 computers equipped with Microsoft 365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, and various other programs/software. You will need to login with your MCC credentials to use the library computers.
For our Community Members:
Fax Machine - The MCC Library doesn’t have a fax machine available for public use, but there are a number of free online services that can be used to send a fax. Visit our Technology in the Library research guide for ways to send a fax via free online services.
Photocopying - You can make copies in the library for $ .10 per page for black and white copies, and $ .25 per page for color copies.
Scanning - The Library has a scanner that's free to use. The scanner is located at the stand-up computer station near the Circulation Desk. The scan will create a digital file which you can then email or save to a flash drive.
Make sure the scanner is turned on before you begin.
We recommend deleting your scan from the computer when you're done. Ask staff for help!
Wi-Fi - Current students and staff members are able to access a secure network named “MCC-Wireless” using their current MCC username and password. After you connect for the first time, your device will automatically connect again anytime you enter campus as long as you have your device remember the network and WiFi is enabled on your device.
If you are a guest of MCC or you are just visiting, you may access the "MCC-Open" Wi-Fi network. The system allows registration for a Wi-Fi account that will last for one day. If you would like to extend the length of access to the open Wi-Fi, please visit the IT Help Desk located in the Library (A212). After you connect for the first time, your device will automatically connect again anytime you enter campus as long as your account is active, you've set your device to remember the network, and you have Wi-Fi enabled.
