Guidelines for Linking
- Links should open in a new window
- Links should be listed by order of relevance
- Lists of links should be kept short, ideally around seven top sources, not an exhaustive list
- Add a short description for each link (why is it useful)
- Reuse existing links when possible
- Link directly to the catalog record for books: use URL below + book's ISBN
- http://sirsi.mchenry.edu/uhtbin/cgisirsi.exe/x/0/0/5?searchdata1=ISBN (or ISSN for periodicals)
- only include linked title and call number for the book (including location)
- Try not to add links in Rich Text
