General Guidelines
Always check with your instructor on their paper formatting requirements, which may override regular formatting guidelines.
- Font: standard font like Times New Roman
- Font size: readable font size like 12 pt.
- Text: double-spaced and aligned left
- Margins: 1 inch or larger
- Each new paragraph: indent ½ inch
- Page numbers: Place in top right or bottom center.
- Title page: Center-aligned and double-space text, place title in the top third of the page, in bold and with proper capitalization. Near the center of the title page, add your name, name of the course, and date. All text should be centered.
