Computer Science (Gale OneFile)

  • What it offers: Find up-to-date articles on computers, electronics, and technology. Look up news, reviews, and research on things like software, hardware, AI, and cybersecurity.
  • How to use it: Great for finding info for class projects, reports, or staying current with tech trends. Try searching for topics like “artificial intelligence,” “network security,” or “latest tech products.”

Information Science (Gale OneFile)

  • What it offers: Access to articles about organizing and managing information and technology. Relevant topics such as databases, user experience, cataloging, and data privacy.
  • How to use it: Helps with papers or projects about IT management and digital information. Search for simple terms like “database design,” “user interface,” or “information security.”

Science in Context (Gale)

  • What it offers: Authoritative articles and multimedia on topics across technology, computer science, mathematics, and science history. It provides detailed coverage for research assignments, emerging technology trends, and foundational theory.
  • How to use it: Use as a starting point for exploring applied technology concepts, scientific breakthroughs, and computation. Try searching for “digital security,” “robotics,” or “cloud computing.” Includes access to news, case studies, experiments, and biographies of key technologists.
