Design and Layout: Do This!
- Put the most important content at the top of the page
- Use horizontal lines to stop readers from scrolling
- Put text in tables and/or bulleted lists for easier reading
- Use left justification for most if not all text
- Follow this order for tabs:
- Home, Finding Books & Media, Finding Articles & More, Finding Web Sites, Evaluating Sources, Citing Sources
- Use the same font throughout the guide
- Use preview and next buttons for easier navigation

- Use all caps
- Use comment boxes
- Underline text unless it is a link
- Use double row of tabs
